• License activation data: When you activate LightBox, we record a device identifier to manage your license activations. This identifier is used solely for license enforcement and is not linked to any personally identifiable information about your device.

Analytics and Telemetry

The LightBox desktop application collects anonymous usage analytics and telemetry data to help us improve the product. This data may include information such as which features are used, performance metrics, and error reports. This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your personal identity or your photos.

Our website at lightboxfilm.app uses privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics (Umami) to understand aggregate traffic and how visitors use our pages. This helps us improve our site; it is not used for advertising or to track you across other websites. Data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

LightBox processes your photos entirely on your local machine. We do not upload, access, or store your photos or image files.
